A variety of activities await youngsters attending this year's festival! Coordinated by committee member and Parks & Recreation Director, Linda Walter, activities this year will mimic the senses exposing children to the many arts. For sound, there will be windchimes; sachet projects for smell; gumdrop sculptures for taste, marble painting for sight and scratch paper projects for touch. There will be other action stations to experience as well. New this year will be a giant chess game donated to the department by McDonalds. Do stop by to see what they have to offer!
"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." Pablo Picasso
